This event was a hit! Both 6th and 7th graders were able to enjoy two and a half hours of pure agriculture. The stations included: Southland Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy Classroom, 3-D Dairy Farm Tour with Oculus Googles, Careers in Agriculture, Horse sled rides, 4-H, FFA, Tractor Safety, Poultry, and Smoothie making. It was a big day for agriculture in Madison County and we hope that this experience was able to impact just ONE middle schooler to consider where their food comes from, how it is produced, and maybe even a career in agriculture.
