4-H Electric Project

(Updated: Oct. 25, 2021, 6:46 a.m.)

Explore the Magic of Electricity and beyond with 4-H! You'll get to do things like wiring circuits, creating electromagnets, and building motors. Youth who complete this electric project will have the opportunity to earn a spot to attend NC 4-H Electric Congress in 2022.

The 4-H Electric Project group will meet at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Madison County Center on Mondays from 3:30–5:30 p.m.: November 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2021.

As a group, we will complete the entire beginner level of the 4-H Electric project, as well as some elective projects. This is a very exciting, hands-on science program. Youth will practice problem solving, learn the basic principles of how electricity works, and create working electric circuits.

This project is free! Registration is through Events in 4-H Online.

Youth ages 10-18 can register (Must turn 11 by January 1, 2022 to be eligible for NC 4-H Electric Congress in 2022).
