Presentations are a hallmark of 4-H! Come learn the art and skill of public speaking! Once you learn a few tips and tricks, it can be as easy as telling your friend about something you’re really excited about.

Who: 4-H’ers ages 5-18 (it’s free for anyone to join!)
When:Monday, March 31st, 4:00-6:00pm
Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Madison County Center (258 Carolina Lane, Marshall)
Why: Public speaking and effective communication are important life skills for anyone to have!
This workshop will teach the fundamentals of public speaking and help youth prepare for 4-H presentation contests. Youth are strongly encouraged to participate in 4-H County Activity Day & District Activity Day presentation contests, but are not required to.- County Activity Day Presentations: Friday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m.
- District Activity Day Presentations: Saturday, June 21st, Asheville or Brevard
- State Presentation Finals: Monday, July 21st, Raleigh
