4-H Pullet Project

Who Can Participate: Youth ages 5-18, must be Madison Co 4-H Members (anyone can join 4-H for free)
What We’ll Do: Learn the fundamentals for raising and showing chickens.
When:- Thursday, March 30th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Interest Meeting
- Tuesday, April 25th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Educational Program #1
- Tuesday, May 2, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30p.m. Educational Program #2
- Friday, June 2: Chicks arrive!
- Saturday, July 29th, AM: Showmanship Clinic
- Thursday, September 28th, PM: Madison County 4-H Pullet Show at Madison County Fairgrounds
Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Madison County Center Get Directions to 258 Carolina Lane, Marshall
Why: Learn life skills and raise laying hens that you can keep!
How to Register:- Enroll in Events using 4-H Online
- Pay $15 to Madison County 4-H (cash or check) by March 30
