The Laurel STREAM Team has teamed up with 4-H to bring you the best of Learning by Doing!

S- Science - learn about what lives in our streams and surrounding ecosystems!

T- Technology - get to use microscopes, computers, and other scientific equipment!

R- Recreation - cool off in the summer heat with swimming, snorkeling, and fishing!

E- Ecology & Environment - learn about the stream ecosystems and the connections to our healthy landscapes, and how to keep them healthy.

A- Art & Awareness - draw, write, and craft - art and science go together!

M- Microscopes, Movies, & Math - use LCC scopes to see tiny things, watch movies about streams and nature, and practice a little math in real-life science applications!

WHO CAN ENROLL: Youth ages 5-18 (age as of January 1st, 2025)

WHEN: Tuesday, April 22, 4:00-5:30

We ask that parents/guardians attend the first meeting on April 22. Youth may be dropped off for following meetings.
