This is for all growers to bring your scales to be certified by NCDA for the coming year in order to meet requirements for selling weighted produce and other goods. Please contact Dana Stauffer at 828-649-2411 or dmstauffer@ncat.edu for any questions. The NCDA inspector will be here the morning of Monday, February 23rd to certify the scales, but you may drop off your scale anytime starting Monday, February 16th. Pick up will be after 2pm on February 23rd. Please make sure to tape a note to your scale with your name, address, and phone number.
