North Carolina Cooperative Extension is based at North Carolina's two land-grant institutions, NC State University and NC A&T State University, in all 100 counties and on the Cherokee Reservation.

Meeting once a week for 10 weeks with class starting March 23rd and going through May 25th
Cost for the class is $75 per person
Registration deadline is February 26, 2010

2010 West District 4-H Teen Retreat

Once again it is time for 4-H Teen Retreat! Teens from across Western North Carolina will meet on March 5-6 at Camp Bob in Hendersonville, NC. The cost is $65 + 1 non-perishable food item. The food item will be donated to a local food shelter to disperse, complementing the state community service project of helping to stop hunger. Are you considering running for an office in your 4-H club? We wish you luck! Once elected, new club officers are invited to participate in 4-H Officer Training here at the Cooperative Extension Center on Friday, February 26 from 7-9pm. Officers will be trained to take on duties as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, or reporter, so that they can lead their club with skill and confidence.
