Do you want to learn how to train your own dog? Are you interested in learning how to show your dog?

Youth ages 8-18 are invited to join us for a one-day 4-H Dog Workshop on obedience and showmanship:

Tuesday, May 10 from 6:00-7:30 at The Meadow Ranch on Walnut Creek Rd.

Register in 4-H Online through Events.

Youth will learn how to communicate better with their dog, be a better dog handler, train their dog in obedience, and practice dog showmanship. This workshop will conclude with an agility demonstration.

Participants must provide proof of rabies vaccination for their dogs. Youth are responsible for bringing their own dog. There are no age or breed restrictions, however, dogs must not show any signs of aggression toward people or animals.

This one-day workshop is a chance to get your feet wet. We anticipate offering a six-week 4-H Dog Project beginning in August and concluding with a show at the Madison County Fair. Stay tuned for details this summer!
